Ratings: Broadcast Finals for November 26, 2013
ABC was the most watched network on Tuesday night as the season finale of DANCING WITH THE STARS, on a special night, drew over 14.7 million viewers and a 2.4 rating in adults 18-49. Glee's Amber Riley was your winner of the competition. DWTS should return sometime in Mid-March, 2014.
CBS tied ABC for the A18-49 ratings lead, despite not having the #1 drama, NCIS. In place of the hit drama, CBS gave us the timeless holiday classic RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER. The clay-mation special drew about 7 million less viewers than a typical NCIS, but equaled it's recent A18-49 ratings, with a 3.0 score. The two remaining CBS dramas showed they can still draw with out their big gun kicking off the night, postings numbers similar, or better, than last week.
For NBC, it was a mixed night. THE BIGGEST LOSER and CHICAGO FIRE both saw ratings increase, week-to-week, but THE VOICE fell to a season low 3.0 demo rating. It was the other two series that lifted NBC over last week's ratings. Will we see THE VOICE fall under a 3.0 next week, or will repeats by the other networks allow the series to regain it's footing?
NEW GIRL jumped 13% in the demo ratings, over last week's numbers and BROOKLYN NINE-NINE grew 10% in total viewers.
The CW is happy to have THE ORIGINALS back. The nightly average nearly doubled in the demo and viewership grew by one million.
