Ratings: Broadcast Finals for November 22, 2013
BONES is beginning to find it's footing in it's new Friday home as ratings perked up in week #2. The veteran crime drama drew 5.8 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49. It showed week-to-week gains of about 12% in both viewership and demo ratings. The series also won the 8 p.m. time slot, topping UNDERCOVER BOSS and the ABC comedies.
The same can't be said about 9 p.m. hour for FOX. RAISING HOPE is just a dead series now. It loses over half the audience BONES bring to it and more leave through the hour. Perhaps the sitcom could move to the 7 p.m., on Sunday nights, once NFL season is complete.
CBS takes the night in both total viewers and in the A18-49 ratings. UNDERCOVER BOSS takes a hit with BONES now competing in the hour, while H5O and BLUE BLOODS both post one of their strongest showing of the season.
ABC tied with CBS in the A18-49 ratings, lead by another strong performance by the #1 show of the night (A18-49 category) SHARK TANK. The reality series rose slightly from last week, topping 7 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49. 20/20 also had a strong night, posting one of its better ratings of the season.
The CW gave us the season premiere of NIKITA, but apparently no one really cared. The soon to ending series collected just 740,000 viewers and a not zoo good 0.2 demo rating. It is a good thing there are only a hand full of episodes for its last season, or The CW would be stuck with two horrible series on Friday nights.
