Ratings: Broadcast Finals for November 17, 2013
Feature a great match up with Peyton Manning involved and you get great ratings for Sunday Night Football. Drawing just under 27 million viewers and a 9.9 rating in Adults 18-49, the Denver vs Kansas City game was nearly identical to the Denver vs Indy game, one month earlier. These two games are the most watched Sunday Night games of the season.
FOX got a good sampling for it's new sci-fi drama ALMOST HUMAN, which collected 9.2 million viewers and and a 3.2 rating in Adults 18-49. It was the highest rated show of the night, excluding football programming, in the demographic ratings. It help boost FOX to second place on the night and draw more viewers than CBS.
For the first time in three weeks, CBS was back to it's regular primetime schedule, with all shows airing in their correct time slots. With that, the numbers dropped for the first three series, but THE MENTALIST held steady in the A18-49 ratings and increased viewership by about 1.3 million. I wonder if CBS would benefit by flipping THE MENTALIST and THE GOOD WIFE? THE GOOD WIFE seems to do better with a later start time, as it had the last two weeks.
For ABC it was more depressed ratings. Not a single show could draw 7 million viewers or achieve a 2.0 rating in the A18-49 demographic.
