- AT&T live streams TV:
AT&T has added live streaming to its TV Everywhere app. You can get up to 100 channels when you are at home and 20 when you are on the go. - Nielsen begins Twitter reports:
Nielsen Research has begun reporting the new Twiitter TV Ratings on "unique audience" for Twitter messages about TV programs.

Drama COLD JUSTICE was picked up for a second season by TNT. - Nielsen Research competitor:
Kantar Media is launching a new TV measuring service to compete with Nielsen. The new service would report on the data collected from over one million set top boxes. - Gone before it arrived:
The new FOX animated series MURDER POLICE was cancelled by the network, before it aired its first episode. The network apparently did not like what it was getting from the first episodes of the series.
- Another one bites the dust:
The second series cancelation was announced today as CBS axed WE ARE MEN. To fill the void, CBS has moved 2 BROKE GIRLS to 8:30 and MIKE & MOLLY will take the 9:00 p.m. slot, starting November 4. - Twitter adds another big client:
The newest media company to sign on with Twitter is NBC/Comcast. Beginning in November, you can access shows and other content via a tweet from NBCU/Comcast. - BE ORIGINAL:
This is the new tagline and branding label for cable network A&E. Gone is the Real.Life.Drama tag line. - Catch ESPN on AOL:
AOL had added ESPN content to its stable of media resoures. Clips form in house productions and SportsCenter will pop up on the internet service. - Get HBO program online:
HBO has begun to offer original individual programs on the Google Play.
- Another full season pick up announced:
The ABC series AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. got the word that it will be picked up for the remainder of the season.
- Aereo News:
The online streaming service was in the new quite a bit this week, mainly for legal happenings. Tuesday, AEREO was sued by local broadcaster and FOX, this time in UTAH. A New York judge will allow plaintiffs to look at Aereo's patents as part of the discovery process of that trial. Wednesday, Broadcast petitioned the US Supreme Court to review a lower court ruling that allowed Aereo to stream local channels in New York. Thursday, broadcasters lost their request to put an injunction on Aereo in Boston. - Lost DR. WHO found:
Lost episodes from the 1960's of the sci-fi series DR, WHO have been found and are now available vi iTunes.
