Social Activity TV Chart: October 3, 2013

In just a year and a half the ABC drama series SCANDAL went from barely making it from beyond its first seven episodes to the hottest series on the network. The season premiere all but confirmed it. It was the most active program in social TV, collecting just under 656,000 posts on Thursday night. It easily beat socially active shows like THE X FACTOR, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES and GREY'S ANATOMY.
On the cable chart, sports ruled the day as the top five most active programs were sports programming. The top show was the NLDS game featuring the LA Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves, which pulled in over 202,000 social posts on the game. The other National League game drew over 72,000, god for 3rd place.
