Primetime Cable Ratings: October 3, 2013
The American League and National League Divisional Series kicked of on Thursday and the two games on TBS placed in the top 10. The primetime game drew 3.5 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49. It didn't come close to dethroning the NFL game off the #1 spot, but it did put a dent into their ratings.
The late afternoon MLB playoff game did spill into primetime and with 2.6 million viewers, it was the #4 cable program of the night. Even the studio show between the two contests did well, drawing over two million viewers.
Loosing over 10% of its audience from last week, THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL was still strong enough to dominate the night of cable TV with an audience of just under 7 million viewers.
