Social Activity TV Chart: October 13, 2013
It was NFL Football Sunday for the broadcast networks as nine of the ten shows on the chart were NFL games. The lone non football game was ONCE UPON A TIME, at the #5 position. 88,888 social posts were sent on the make-believe drama. Oddly enough, the late inning comeback win by the Red Sox over the Tigers, in game two of the ALCS on FOX, failed to make the top 10.
On Cable was the very much anticipated season four premiere of THE WALKING DEAD. It hauled in 1.88 million social messages during its broadcast window. Preliminary ratings should be released monday afternoon, but if this chart is any indication, expect a record number to be announced by AMC.
