Ratings Review: SIBERIA

When SIBERIA first hit the airwaves, I knew very little about the series. What little I did know, or thought I knew, was that this was another reality series. A Game of "Survivor," but in a winter environment. Not a bad concept. But the reality was something completely different.


Spoiler Alert: SIBERIA was really a scripted series made to look like a reality competition show gone wrong. it has been described as a LOST meets SURVIVOR type of show.

Whatever the series was, the viewers had no clue and stayed away from it, in droves. For the 11 episode season, SIBERIA averaged just 2.04 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49.  Only twice in its run did viewership increase from the previous week. I was really surprised NBC aired the series in it entirety. But, it is safe to say there will not be a second season of SIBERIA.
