Ratings Review: IRONSIDE

What do you get when you combine a remake of a classic TV series AND airing on NBC AND going up against CSI? You got it. A cancelled IRONSIDE after just three episodes.


NBC officially cancelled IRONSIDE today, October 18, after three strait weeks of sub-par ratings. The remake of the classic 70's series, starring Raymond Burr, just did not connect with audiences in the 21st century. IRONSIDE joins KNIGHT RIDER, THE BIONIC WOMAN, CHARLIES ANGELS and V as remake busts.

For those not wanting to do the math, the three episodes of IRONSIDE averaged 5.3 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49.
