Ratings: Broadcast Finals for October 26, 2013

It may sound like a broken record, but FOX easily takes the night with game 3 of the 2013 World Series, drawing 12.5 million viewers and a 3.3 rating in Adults 18-49. it will be the lowest rated game of the the series, because of it being Saturday night. The series is on track to top the ratings from 2012 and could be one of the most watched in the last few years. We'll post a full ratings review on the series once it has completed.

ABC came in a very distant second place with college football. Unless they have a high profile matchup, the game had no real chance of topping the baseball game.
48 HOURS, at 10 p.m., was the top rated non-sports program of the night, but an earlier edition of the series, at 9 p.m., did not do much better than a drama repeat has done in the time slot. Two hours of the show could work on Saturday nights, but it would need a good marketing push to make viewers aware of the earlier start times.
