FOX snaps NBC's early season winning streak by sweeping the week in the ratings, in all categories, thanks to four games of the 2013 World Series. Each of the four games drew over 12.5 million viewers, with the most coming pm Sunday night, grabbing 16 million. The four baseball games and the NFL Overrun are the only programs FOX has in the top 30. BONES is the lone regular series in the top 50 for the network.
NBC finishes in second place in most ratings categories. Its Sunday Night Football game was the least viewed of the season, grabbing just 16.9 million viewers, placing 4th for the week. THE VOICE and new drama THE BALCK LIST, along with one edition of FOOTBALL NIGHT IN AMERICA, join SNF as NBC's entries in the top 30 programs of the week.
CBS was down, but not out, in this weeks ratings against football and baseball. The network had the top seven scripted series of the week. CASTLE at #17 was the highest rated scripted series from another network. In total, CBS placed 15 programs in this week's top 30. Excluding Saturday programs, all but one CBS show finished at 42nd, or higher. HOSTAGES ranked 57th, with just 5.16 million viewers.
ABC finishes in 4th place with five programs making the top 30. Its most watched program was DANCING WITH THE STARS (#10), with 13.4 million viewers.
The CW dropped from last week's numbers, despite the season premiere of THE CARRIE DIARIES.
