Primetime Cable Ratings: October 22, 2013
I t seems like it has been a while since SONS OF ANARCHY was at the top of the daily cable ratings, since MLB playoffs have dominated the charts for most of the month. But, it is back and in dominating fashion.The FX drama collected 4.4 million viewers and a 2.4 rating in Adults 18-49, about even with last week's airing. SOA was the only primetime cable series to attract over 3.5 million viewers and/or a 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49. When compared to the broadcast networks, SOA would have won the 10 p.m. time slot in the young demographic numbers.
The fall season premiere of ABC Family's drama PRETTY LITTLE LIARS placed third on the night, but second in the demo ratings. That is about on par from where the series left off, back in August. However, the coattails did not reach its lead out program RAVENSWOOD, which could only generate 2.1 million viewers.
THE BIG BANG THEORY roared back to action, claiming four spots on Tuesday's chart. With baseball gone, viewers are finding their way back to their favorite sitcom reruns.
