LIVE+7 Ratings: CBS Premiere Week
Most of CBS' Live+7 ratings were released via the weekly Nielsen report. The network dominated the chart with 14 program in the top 25 viewers chart and 12 programs mixed in between the A18-49 charts.To no surprise, THE BIG BANG THEORY was the top show in both categories, twice. The special 8:30 p.m. episode drew over 26 million viewers and a 8.6 rating in Adults 18-49 within the seven days of the original airing.
Not looking good, even with the higher L+7 numbers is the new drama HOSTAGES. Just 11 million viewers sampled the program, over a week. Based on these numbers, I wonder if it would be easy, quick fix to move THE MENTALIST to Mondays and Hostages to Sundays? Either way, the network may let the series run its course, but when it has its finale in January, it will be a series finale, not season finale.
