Ratings Review: FASHION STAR (Season Two)

I was very surprised NBC brought this series back after how bad the first season did in the ratings. It had to be nothing more than filler for the network as they transition from the old regime to the new.

FASHION STAR never once rose above three million viewers, but it was "consistent" at a high two million viewership level. Not exactly something to be proud of, but something that can be said.

This was just a bad decision by NBC. It never should have been back on the air after the 2011-12 season. However, if you are going to air it, Friday night id not a bad place. Saturday nights would have been better.

For the 9 episode season, FASHION STAR averaged 2.76 million viewers and a terrible 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49. Thank goodness NBC axed this turkey, but I do think they thought about a third season since it was not until late July before they officially cancelled the series.
