Ratings Review: BREAKING POINTE (Season Two)

This is another one of those series that completely confused me when it was renewed for a second season. Last summer, the ratings were not good for the reality series. The numbers only got worse for the second season.

The CW can't survive by renewing TV series that pull in worse ratings then the encores of their regular series. Yes, you have to applaud the CW for being more aggressive this summer, but this was not the way to go about it.

For the nine episode season, BREAKING POINTE averaged just 490,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating in Adults 18-49. It was the summer's worst original series for the network and I doubt, I hope, we will never see it again.
