Ratings: Broadcast Finals for September 9, 2013

The new NBC game show MILLION SECOND QUIZ got off to a decent start on Monday night, drawing in 6.5 million viewers and 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49. The game show easily won its 8 p.m. time slot and gave a nice lead in to the 9 p.m. NBC program AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR. The premiere looks even better when you consider that ESPN had the season premiere of MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL with its annual season opening doubleheader. So both coasts were watching football when MILLION DOLLAR SECOND was on the air.


MISTRESSES had been riding high since it recently moved to 9 p.m., but the season/series finale fell flat. Just 3.9 million viewers and a 1.1 demo rating, down just slightly in viewers, but the A18-49 ratings took a 21% hit from last week's numbers. Depending on how the contracts were set up, will this be the last time we see a new episode of MISTRESSES?

Also taking a hit was the summer hit series UNDER THE DOME. Between the NFL games and the 30 minute delay of starting the episode, the program was down considerablly from last week. Collecting 9.7 million viewers and a 2.1 demo rating, the ratings were down 16% in viewership and 22% in the A18-49 ratings, week-to-week. CBS will re-air the episode on Saturday, incased you missed it.

NBC - 4.6 million viewers, 1.3 rating in Adults 18-49
