Ratings Review: HELL'S KITCHEN (Season 11)

HELL'S KITCHEN was called into duty a little early this year as the FOX Tuesday night comedies struggled, especially during the 8:00 p.m. hour. Right off the bat, The Gordon Ramsey competition series greatly improved the slot and helped elevate the 9 p.m. hour shows.

With the early start for HK, it ended up hurting FOX during the late summer season. The ratings of the Thursday time slot dropped of by more than 50% than what HELL'S KITCHEN was bringing in. MASTERCHEF was pretty much left all alone to prop up FOX. To paraphrase a famous saying, Two Gordons are better than one.

For the 2013 season, HELL'S KITCHEN averaged 4.65 million viewers and a 1.9 rating in Adults 18-49, on 22 airings, including two repeat episodes on July 4th.
