Ratings Review: FALLING SKIES (Season Three)

FALLING SKIES is becoming one of the stronger scripted dramas on cable TV. After a big season premiere, pulling in 4.2 million viewers, the series took a big step backwards in the ratings, only to recover and pull itself up by the end of the season.

Personally, I just discovered this series a few weeks ago. Seasons one and two are available fore free on Amazon Prime, for members, and season three episodes are currently available for $1.99 each. Cutting the cord is directly responsible for my discovery of this great cable drama and it will be worth the $20 I may spend to watch season three this summer.

Over the summer, FALLING SKIES averaged 3.46 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49, for the nine airings it had. The series is coming back for a 4th season in 2014, with an increased episode order of 12 episodes.
