Ratings: Broadcast Finals for August 14, 2013

The trend of wide spread erosion, from week-to-week, hit Wednesday night as 11 of the 15 programs lost viewers, in one for or another, from last Wednesday.

Once again, the biggest loser was AMERICA'S GOT TALENT, as it lost 750,000 viewers (-12%) and four tenths of a ratings point (-16%), from last week. The loses were large enough to allow MASTERCHEF to defeat AGT, head-to-head, in the all important demo ratings, 2.2 to 2.1, respectively, even though MASTERCHEF itself lost viewers.

BIG BROTHER was not immune to the drops as it lost 9% in the demo ratings. CBS as a whole last a tenth of a ratings point against its A18-49 ratings.

ABC and The CW actually saw increases on Wednesday. Both ARROW and SUPERNATURAL saw increases in total viewership, while ABC saw MODERN FAMILY rise over 1/2 million viewers and 11% in the demo ratings. THE NEIGHBORS followed suite with an increase in total viewership.

ABC's THE LOOKOUT kept the trend going with a few extra thousand viewers and an 11% jump in the A18-49 ratings.

ABC - 3.3 million viewers, 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49

CBS - 5.6 million viewers, 1.3 rating in Adults 18-49

CW - 1.1 million viewers, 0.4 rating in Adults 18-49

FOX - 4.2 million viewers, 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49

NBC - 6.2 million viewers, 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49
