Top 20 Scripted Cable Programs: June 24 - 30, 2013

TNT is becoming the dominate network when it comes to original summer scripted programming. The network five series in this week's top 20, including the top three.

RIZZOLI AND ISLES (#1) season premiere drew over 6.6 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49. This was up 18% in viewers and 17% in the demo ratings, from the season three premiere.

Following RIZZOLI & ISLES was the second year drama PERCEPTION, which collected 4 million viewers and a 0.8 demo rating. It retained just 60% of the viewer from its lead in, but still managed to rank third for the week.

TRUE BLOOD was the week's best performing program in the A18-49 ratings, hauling in a 2.2 rating.  However, the series is down 8% in the demo ratings and 12% in viewership from its season premiere on June 16.

Perhaps taking a few viewers from TRUE BLOOD was Showtime's DEXTER had its final season premiere on Sunday, against the HBO drama. DEXTER pulled in 2.5 million viewers and a solid 1.2 demo rating. It was the series highest rated season opener ever.
