Complete Nielsen Ratings: Week of July 22, 2013
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #91:
CBS and FOX split weekly leadership, with the EYE Network being tops in viewers, A25-54 and households. FOX takes the younger demographic ratings, A18-34 and A18-49.
CBS placed 18 programs in the weekly top 30 chart, including eight in the top ten. Excluding the two Saturday night programs and all of the CBS shows finished in the top 35. The #1 program of the week, UNDER THE DOME, drew 11.6 million viewers and a 2.8 rating in Adults 18-49. Season premiere of the crime drama UNFORGETTABLE placed 7th for the week, with 7.15 million viewers. The series the #2 original scripted summer series in both viewers and demo ratings.
FOX only placed two programs in the top 30 in viewership (MASTERCHEF & HELL'S KITCHEN), but the network's strengths are in the younger demographics, where it placed 8 programs in the top 30, with the previously mentioned cooking shows in the top 10.
NBC finished second in viewership with five shows in the top 30. AMERICA'S GOT TALENT took the #2 and #3 spots, both editions with over 10 million viewers, and a third spot for the talent series at #11. DATELINE and AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR complete the network's top 3p list.
ABC continues to struggle this summer, despite tying NBC with the same number of top 30 programs. The difference between NBC and ABC is that ABC does not have a single program in the top 10. Three of their five top 30 shows are ranked between 25th and 30th.
The CW's summer hit WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? continues to excel in the ratings. The 8 p.m. episode drew 2.5 million viewers and ranked 65th for the week. in the A18-49 ratings, the episode finished in the 43rd spot with a decent 1.0 rating. The CW was very smart at renewing the series for another 24 episodes.
