Top 20 Scripted Cable Programs: June 10 - 16, 2013

MAJOR CRIMES  leads a strong group of scripted programming on cable, with over five million viewers and a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49. MAJOR CRIMES was one of four shows for TNT, in the top 10, most by any network.

Also doing well for TNT was the new series KING & MAXWELL. Finishing in 6th place, the series premiere drew 3.5 million viewers. But, the retention out of MAJOR CRIMES is a bit concerning. It lost roughly 30% of the audience from the second year drama. We will see if this is just the normal gap between the Sunday programs or if it will widen as viewers slowly reject KING & MAXWELL.

TRUE BLOOD may have been the second in total viewers, but it was by far the best rated program in the Adults 18-49 demographic ratings, with a 2.4. It was easily a full ratings point better than any show, of all genres, for the week.
