Ratings Review: THE FOLLOWING
In season that will be remembered that almost nothing new hit with viewing audiences, THE FOLLOWING was the one, perhaps the only, new series in 2012-13 to truly be called a hit. It consistently grew from its lead in, in both categories. It only decline over its season was more about the "spring fall" than it was about viewers not being satisfied by the series.
The good thing going for THE FOLLOWING next season is that it will be back in its same time slot. The down side will be having a new series as its lead in. If ALMOST HUMAN fails, than it will hur THE FOLLOWINGS ratings.
For the 2012-13 season, THE FOLLOWING aired 15 times, drawing an average of 7.96 million viewers and a 2,6 rating in Adults 18-49. That is better than REVOLUTION, ELEMENTARY and NASHVILLE.
