Top 20 Scripted Cable Programs for Week of 04/22/13

+Game of Thrones is the week's #1 scripted prgram this week, drawing 3.4 million viewers for HBO. The third year series was the #3 over all cable program, behind DUCK DYNASTY and the NFL Draft.

VIKINGS had its season finale this past week and collected 3.6 million viewers. Since THE BIBLE finished up half way through the run of VIKINGS, the series has done well to draw viewers on its own. It has consistently posted viewership in the mid-three million range. History has done a good job with its few scripted programs, but I am one that hopes they continue to develop more and at a slightly fast rate.

Now that MAD MEN is in the middle stage of its season run, you can see the true strength, or lack there of, of the series. Just 2.4 million viewers for a series that EVERYONE seems to love. I actually believe that it is cool to say you love MAD MEN, but the actual watching of the program is not as fun. Agree or disagree?
