With the NBA in between games of the two conference finals, the NHL playoffs take center stage on cable. With three games making the top five, a total of more than 220,000 social messages talking about at least one of the games. It appears that the shortened season from the strike has not dampened the spirit of the fans, but, at this rate, it will be past Independence day before a champion is crowned.
