AMERICAN IDOL may not be a dominate force in the Nielsen Ratings, but it is a force in the Social Media circles. The season finale of the long running reality program collected over 630,000 social media posts. That is about double from the previous week.
Also finishing the season strong was sophomore hit SCANDAL. It not only out delivered GREY'S ANATOMY in the ratings, but it more than doubled its ABC lead in in social messaging. Things will only get better for the young drama.
And TV viewers said good-bye to THE OFFICE. over 400k messages were sent out via social networks about the nine year old sitcom. It was a good series finale, capped off with a small return cameo by Steve Carell.
