Ratings: Broadcast Finals for May 20, 2013

Monday was split leadership between NBC, posting tops in the demo ratings, and ABC, collecting the most viewers.

NBC's THE VOICE was the night's top program in the A18-49 ratings, with a 3.5 mark. It is down 8% from last week and is the 5th straight week of ratings lost from the previous week. In those five weeks, THE VOICE is down 32%. Total viewership is also down, 3.6 million viewers in those same five weeks. Will there be any viewers left by the time the finale airs in June?

DANCING WITH THE STARS is going in the opposite direction. It is up 30% in the demo ratings and 1.6 million viewers, from last week. It is this spring;s best numbers since the season premiere, back in mid-March. It is finishing the season on a strong note.

The series finale for RULES OF ENGAGEMENT did decent numbers, considering the repeat programming surrounding it. 6.3 million viewers tuned in to see Two marriages, a baby being born and the announcement of a second on its way. They also got to see Ed Bagley Jr. appear in his second series finale in less than a week.

HAWAII FIVE-0 wrapped up its season with one of its best ratings nights of the season. It won the 10 p.m. hour in both categories and was up 11% in the demo ratings and over 1 million total viewers. The veteran series should be a perfect fit for Fridays and may bring a much needed boost on the night, for CBS.

And lastly, ABC delivered us a new drama, MOTIVE, at 10 p.m. It did lose over 55% of its lead in, but it did attract more viewers than REVOLUTION. It to early to tell if MOTIVE is a bust or may have summer legs.

CW - 0.7 million viewers, 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49
