Ratings: Broadcast Finals for April 29, 2013

Lead by DANCING WITH THE STARS, with 13.5 million viewers, ABC is the nights most watched network. The network has two of the three programs that draw over 10 million viewers, as CASTLE collects 10.5 million viewers.

THE VOICE, the second most watched program, is the nights #1 program in the A18-49 ratings, with a strong 4.3 rating. That is down 12% in the demo ratings and 10% in total viewers. But,  THE VOICE is over 1.5 ratings points over the #2 program (HIMYM) in the important demographic. However, all is not rosy for NBC as REVOLUTION loses 57% of the viewership that THE VOICE delivered. I guess I understand why NBC renewed REVOLUTION for next season. It is usually the highest rated show, after THE VOICE, but losing nearly 60% each week is a show of weakness, not strength. NBC had another SMASH on its hands.

FOX closes the season on its two Monday night dramas. BONES and THE FOLLOWING bring in their best numbers since the beginning of March, when both series drew over 8 million viewers on the night.

Monday Night Network Averages:
NBC - 10.3 million viewers, 3.5 rating in Adults 18-49.
FOX - 7.6 million viewers, 2.4 rating in Adults 18-49.
ABC - 12.5 million viewers, 2.1 rating in Adults 18-49.
CBS - 7.5 million viewers, 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49.
CW - 0.6 million viewers, 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49.
