Social TV Activity Chart for April 14, 2013

MTV presented its annual Movie Awards and viewers did a lot of interaction within the social networks. over 3 million messages were posted regarding the awards show, more than all other programs combined. However, it is small when you compare this movie awards show to THE movie awards show, The Oscars. The February show drew 10 million more social TV messages than the quaint little MTV program.

CBS received a boost from its coverage of THE MASTERS. A tight pack among the leaders, including Tiger Woods, brought viewers and social interaction during the coverage. Wood tied for 4th place, four shots back, while Adam Scott beat Angel Cabrera in Playoff holes.
