Ratings Review: THE BIGGEST LOSER (2013)
Over the years, THE BIGGEST LOSER has been a solid performer for NBC. In this dark era of NBC, it is still one of a few series the has that can draw decent ratings and is a perfect fit in between the seasons of THE VOICE.
The return of the popular trainer Jillian Michaels allowed the series to rebound, a bit, from last season. It still needs to work on the length of each episode as two hours is still too long.
For the season, THE BIGGEST LOSER averaged 6.1 million average and a 2.3 rating in the A18-49 demographic. This makes the reality series the third best rated series on NBC, behind SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL and THE VOICE.
