Ratings: Broadcast Finals for March 30, 2013
NCAA Tournament basketball dominates a normally quite Saturday night on broadcast TV. The CBS game of Wichita St/Ohio St. drew 11.3 million viewers and a robust 3.4 rating in the A18-49 demographic. This will be a BIG boost the weekly ratings for CBS and counteract the lower than average numbers from Thursday's coverage of the tournament.
ABC did decent ratings for its annually presentation of the classic movie THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. The movie hauled in 5.6 million viewers and a 1.2 demo rating. However, that is down 1.4 million viewers and 25% in the demo, from last year's presentation.
