Social TV Activity Chart for March 7, 2013
FOX dominated the social activity on Thursday as both AMERICAN IDOL and GLEE pulled in a combination of over 560,000 tweets, posts and status updates. The third night of AMERICAN IDOL was the most productive of the week, topping the previous night by nearly 30,000.
GLEE has been struggling in the ratings lately, so we will see if the 207,000 social TV posts will translate into higher ratings for the series.
On cable, TNT's NBA doubleheader takes the top two spots with a combined total over over 260,000. That is about 60,000 less than last week's combined totals.
