Social TV Activity Chart for March 1, 2013

It was a fairly quiet day for broadcast TV. A repeat of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES takes the top sot with just under 50,000 social posts. The teen drama should also do better in the time slot ratings than past encore program THE CARRIE DIARIES.

On the cable side it was all NBA and ESPN. The network's NBA doubleheader took the top two spots, with a combined social activity of about 385,000 posts. Sportscenter came in 5th with over 68,000 posts on it own.

Good old SpongeBob SquarePants was in it usual #3 spot with over 91,000 posts. Are parents posting for their kids each time SpongeBob comes on? Really, if anyone has an answer or good theory, please post them bellow, in the comments section.
