Ratings: Broadcast Finals for March 20, 2013

AMERICAN IDOL continues to fall in the ratings. The night's most watched program and top ratings holder in A18-49 demo, was down another five percent from last Wednesday's telecast. Since its season premiere AI is down 28%, or 5 million viewers, and whopping 40% in the A18-49 ratings. Can AMERICAN IDOL survive this season for a next season?

CRIMINAL MINDS was back with an original episode and posted an 11.6 million viewers and a 3.0 A18-49 rating. CRIMINAL MINDS and AI were the only two programs with a demo rating at three or above, on the night.

CHICAGO FIRE seems to have cooled off a bit. The 6.4 million viewers and 1.7 demo ratings are down only 4% in viewers, but dropped 15% in the A18-49 ratings from its last original telecast, on February 27. That was the night the series topped CSI for the first time, in the demo ratings.
