CW Weekly Ratings for the Week of March 11-17, 2013
We are roughly two months away from the 2013 network up front presentations and it may actually be interesting to see what The CW does for next season. Based on the ratings below, and how they have played out for the season, it is obvious that going for a single demographic for 8-10 hours a week, is insane. Yes, you have a couple of hits within the demo, but over all the network has suffered.
As I See the schedule, The CW cuts half the schedule and lets it lose. Gone are THE CARRIE DIARIES, 90210, CULT and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. HART OF DIXIE is on the bubble. But, after that, will the remaining shows get moved to new dates? How many different genres will the CW pick up? This network will be fun to watch come mid-May.
For the week, The CW averaged 1.19 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in Adults 18-49. That is an increase of 12% in viewers and 11 % in the demo ratings. It will be a close call to see if The CW can hold off ION-TV for 5th place.
