Complete Nielsen Ratings: Week of March 11, 2013
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #99:
Once again, it is FOX and CBS with split leadership. FOX takes the two younger demographic crowns, while CBS excels in viewers, households and the A25-54 demo.
CBS dominated the chart in total viewers, placing six programs in the top 10 (Including PERSON OF INTEREST at #2), 14 of the top 20 and 19 of the top 30. Excluding Saturdays, CBS' least watched program was a repeat of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER at #41.
Filling out the top 30 was FOX, with three, including AMERICAN IDOL at #3. ABC placed eight programs in the top 30, lead by the THE BACHELOR and AFTER THE ROSE at #10 and #9, respectively. NBC failed to place a single program within the top 30.
Although THE BIG BANG THEORY was the #1 show in the A18-49 demographic ratings, it was FOX that was #1 for thew week. It placed seven programs in the top 10, including the season premiere of HELL'S KITCHEN at #17. THE FOLLOWING was the networks top rated scripted program, placing ninth on the chart.
CBS still did well in the demo ratings chart, generating eight programs in the top 20. ABC, again lead by the two THE BACHELOR programs, placed four in the top 30. NBC's lone top 20 program was THE BIGGEST LOSER.
Overall, ratings were down. Only six programs pulled in a demo rating above a 3.0 and just 19 could top a 2.0 rating. And, just 12 shows attracted more than 10 million viewers. Between the spring viewing habits hitting and the economy slowly getting better, people are just not watching TV as regularly now as was 6 weeks earlier.
