CBS Keeps GOLDEN BOY on Tuesdays, VEGAS to Fridays

CBS announced that the new mid-season drama GOLDEN BOY will remain in the Tuesday 10:00 p.m. time slot and moving freshmen series VEGAS to Fridays at 9:00 p.m.

CBS will air Golden Boy this Friday, March 8, at 9:00 p.m.

VEGAS will begin its Friday run, after the NCAA Tournament coverage, starting on April 5th.

Lets look at the two Tuesday outings of GOLDEN BOY, and comparing it two the last two episodes of VEGAS. Although the premiere of GB was relatively high, it looks to be settling in the same ratings spot as VEGAS. This change may only be that GOLDEN BOY has a chance for renewal and VEGAS is all but gone, unless they can light a fire under the Friday time slot.

GOLDEN BOY:
Feb. 26 - 10.56 million viewers, 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49
March 3 - 9.40 million viewers, 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49
A drop of just 11% in viewers and demo ratings.

VEGAS:
Feb. 5 - 10.25 million viewers, 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49
Feb 19 - 9.52 million viewers, 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49
