Social TV Activity Chart for February 21, 2013

For the short time I have followed this chart from Trendrr, I have never seen Univision at the top. But two have TWO programs on top, AND dominating, may be a first. Between the two programs, Univision gathered over 1.3 million messages and posts on social networks.

"Premio Lo Nuestro" is an awards show honoring the best in Latin music. As we saw the previous night with the BRIT awards, awards programs produce lots of activity among the social networks. "Noche de Estrellas" was the red carpet coverage of the event.

On the cable side, NBA basketball is on top with two games, lead by the Bulls/Heat game with over 228k. SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS is always near the top each day it is on, but I am wondering why/how is it always here? Are there more kids, than we think, posting and twittering on social networks?
