Ratings Review: WEDDING BAND
It is easy to dismiss the TBS comedy WEDDING BAND, but when you consider the day and time it aired, with little support, it actually did a good job getting what little viewers that were available.
The 10 episode averaged roughly 1.1 million viewers a week, with a 0.5 demo rating. That demo rating is what the broadcast networks get on the same night, with promotion and support. Had TBS given the series half a chance and ran it in a weekday slot, with THE BIG BANG THEORY lead in, it easily could have done what COUGAR TOWN or SULLIVAN AND SON are doing. Three days after the last episode, TBS announce that the series had been cancelled.
