Viewership was pretty dead on Saturday night, but FOX was able to generate a little interest with its coverage of the NASCAR Bud Shootout. The event drew an average of 5.2 million viewers and a some-what decent 1.3 demo rating. The network won every half hour between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
At 10 o'clock, CBS' 48 HOURS drew the most viewers with 5.8 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in adults 18-49.
