Ratings: Broadcast Finals for February 20, 2013

FOX easily wins the night in both measured categories as AMERICAN IDOL dominates the night. AI hauled in 14.4 million viewers (up nearly 1 million from last week) and a strong 4.1 rating (down) in the A18-49 demo. The series still packs a punch, but it is nowhere near the ratings behemoth it once was.

CSI had a big upturn from last week, as it pulled in 10.7 million viewers and a 2.3 demo rating. Comparing those low ratings last week, CSI is up 2 million viewers (23%) and 0.4 of a ratings point (21%). Needles to say that a comedy encore is not exactly good for the series, at its age.

20/20: MAD ABOUT THE OSCARS fell flat for ABC. The Katie Couric special dropped 13% in viewers and 35% in the demo ratings, from its comedy lead in. Katie is no Barbara Walters, but ABC better hope this is not a sign of things to come for the Oscar ratings on Friday.

- SURVIVOR is up 6% from last week's Season premiere.
- LAW & ORDER: SVU is down 10% from the previous week.
