Ratings: Broadcast Finals for January 4, 2013

FOX coverage of the COTTON BOWL dominated the night as it drew just under 12 million viewers and a 3.5 rating in Adults 18-49. These numbers are pretty good considering TEXAS A& M routed 41-13.

ABC had a full night of original programming as all the regulars are back for 2013. LAST MAN STANDING and MALIBU COUNTRY drew typical numbers. Nothing horrid, but nothing great either. However, the numbers to seem to be slowly sliding down. It is not looking good for either series to get a full season pick up come May.

SHARK TANK did have the highest demo rating of the night, outside of the football game. It should continue to lead the night as the season progresses, especially after CSI: NY calls it a season in a few weeks.

Speaking of CBS, they too had typical Sunday Numbers. BLUE BLOODS leads all programs, outside of the game, in total viewers, with CSI: NY right behind it. There is an audience on Friday nights and CBS knows how to attract them.
