Ratings: Broadcast Finals for January 3, 2013
Just four words need to be said. THE BIG BANG THEORY!The best comedy on TV just keeps getting bigger and bigger. 19.25 million viewers and an A18-49 rating of 6.1. That is better than the combined ratings of NBC and ABC, in both categories. It will be the top regular series of the weekly ratings and will only be behind NFL Playoff football over the weekend.
The great lead in of TBBT also pumped up the ratings for the rest of the night on CBS. TWO AND A HALF MEN posted a season high. PERSON OF INTEREST scored series high numbers and ELEMENTARY's ratings were the best since the series premiere. IF CBS can keep this train going, it will be no time before the network catches up and passes NBC in the season to date ratings.
