Ratings: Broadcast Finals for January 18, 2013
After five seasons, FRINGE finally signed off FOX. Not with a bang, but more like a whimper. The two hour finale drew just 3.3 million viewers and a 1.1 demo rating. Later this month, we'll see if FOX Fridays is more about the night, or if FRINGE was just not a good fit for the night.Taking the night in both viewers and demo ratings, CBS averaged a 1.7 demo rating and 10.5 million viewers. The top performer on the night in viewers was BLUE BLOODS with 11.6 million viewers. UNDERCOVER BOSS tops the demo ratings with a decent 1.9 rating.
NBC continued with comedy encores at 8:00pm, but BETTY WHITE'S OFF THEIR ROCKERS did improve on the previous week's comedy encore by 1600 PENN by 20% in viewers. It was also 78% than the GO ON encores from January 4th.
ABC remained competitive with its comedies at 8:00 p.m. LAST MAN STANDING, 6.6 million viewers, 1.3 demo rating, is starting to separate itself from MALIBU COUNTRY, 5.9 million viewers, 1.2 demo rating. It may not be long before either LMS is moved to a better night or it will be pared with another sitcom and MC is pulled from the schedule.
