Top 40 Weekly Cable Ratings: Week of 12/10/12

GOLD RUSH, a Friday night program, has risen to be one of the more popular programs on cable TV. Placing 3rd for the week, the Discovery series pulled in 4.6 million viewers and a solid 1.9 A18-49 rating. That A18-49 rating is better than most of the broadcast programs on the same night. Perhaps ABC or NBC should look at this type of program to fill Friday and Saturday nights?

After 10 years, AMERICAN CHOPPERS ends. The long, angry and loud tale of the Tuttles and their chopper business ends on a high note as nearly 4 million viewers watch the series finale. the 2.0 demo rating was the 2nd best number for the week.
