Ratings: Broadcast Finals for December 12, 2012

News came out today that WHITNEY got an order from NBC for three additional episodes. My question is... WHY???!!!?? Just look at the ratings from wednesday. WHITNEY drew just 3.77 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49 at 8:00 p.m. That is not much better than what ANIMAL PRACTICE was pulling in October. It sets the tone for the night and NBC's Wednesday was in shambles.

GUYS WITH KIDS posted a series low 2.7 million viewers and a 1.0 demo rating. At 9:00 p.m. TAKE IT ALL fell off the wagon, down over 50% from the previous two nights. Not because of viewer turn off, but because of the lack of support from its lead in programming. Even CHICAGO FIRE felt the effects. The drama was down 1.6 million viewers and a 1.4 ratings point from last week. Some of that was the return of CSI to the hour and the Barbara Walter special, but it also had a horrible lead in, which if you look close, started with WHITNEY at 8:00 p.m.
