Ratings: Broadcast Finals for November 20, 2012

Tuesday night was not a good night for comedy. of the eight sitcoms that run on the night, six failed to reach a 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49. Of those six, four were below a 1.5 rating. But it was ZERO comedies that could attract 6 million or more viewers. The best showing was from GO ON with 5.97 million viewers and a 2.1 demo rating. NEW GIRL was right behind in the demo ratings with a 2.0, but it will have a dramatic increase when the Live+7 ratings are released in a couple of weeks.

The CBS crime drama were the most stable and the network averaged 13.9 million viewers and a decent 2.5 A18-49 rating. That was good enough to win the nigh in both measured categories. NBC was second in the demo with a 2.3 average, lead by the nights top performer, THE VOICE (3.4 rating). FOX was third with a 1.5 demo rating, which edged out ABC by 0.1 points.
