Ratings: Broadcast Finals for November 14, 2012

Albert Einstein is quoted as saying "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." I think he was talking about NBC when he said that.

WHITNEY had its season premiere, on the night the series ran last winter and spring, and the ratings were nothing different that the last time. Low 4 million in viewers and a mid-one rating in Adults 18-49. In fact, when you even compare it to the last ANIMAL PRACTICE (3.7 million, 1.2 demo rating) the results are not much different. o yea, NBC is a little Insane.

The 2012 season looking to prove that a 2.5 demo rating is the new 3.0 rating. Only two programs reached ot topped the 3.0 mark (CRIMINAL MINDS and MODERN FAMILY). However, there were five other programs that were in the range of a 2.4 to 2.9 demo rating. The standards may have to be lowered and a looser definition of a "Hit TV Show" written.
