Ratings: Broadcast Finals for November 29, 2012

CBS dominates the night in both viewers and in Adults 18-49 on the last Thursday night of November, lead by THE BIG BANG THEORY's 17.25 million viewers and 5.5 demo rating. No other show really comes close to those ratings. It's lead out program, TWO AND A HALF MEN, was the the #2 program of the night, off by about 20% from TBBT. PERSON OF INTEREST continued the dominance with 14.4 million viewers at 9:00 p.m., but did get edged out by GREY'S ANATOMY in the demo, 2.9 to 3.1.


ELEMENTARY is the weak link of the night for CBS. The freshmen series tied ABC's SCANDAL in the demo ratings at 2.2, but did take the hours in viewers with 10.5 million viewers.

The CW came in 3rd place during the 8:00pm hour as THE VAMPIRE DIARIES beat a burn-off episode of LAST RESORT and the pathetic NBC comedies. TVD posted a 1.4 demo ratings, while the two NBC comedies averaged a 1.3 rating and LAST RESORT an astounding 1.0 rating. If the CW had anything to pare with TVD, they could have placed 4th in the whole night and beat NBC. NBC is just plain pathetic on this night and needs to be embarrassed more like they were on this night.
