Ratings: Broadcast Finals for November 11, 2012
ABC took a bit of a hit on Sunday night as FOX NFL doubleheader ran well into the 8:00 p.m. hour and keeping viewers with it. ONCE UPON A TIME posted it worse numbers of the season with just 8.75 million viewers and a mediocre 2.7 rating in Adults 18-49. That is a drop of 1.4 million viewers and 23% drop in the A18-49 ratings from the previous week. The effects of the FOX overrun were minimized to just OUAT as REVENGE was mostly flat from the previous week.THE SIMPSONS did get a great boost from the NFL lead in. 6.9 million viewers and a 3.2 demo rating is the best numbers since the season premiere. However, the effect stopped there. BOB'S BURGERS dropped a quarter of the audience from the SIMPSONS and FAMILY GUY uncharacteristically had just a small increase at 9:20 p.m.
NBC and FOOTBALL NIGHT IN AMERICA took a big hit with the NFL overrun on FOX. Usually the 8:00 p.m. edition of FNiA does well, but with a game still playing during its time slot, it posted its worse numbers of the year. Just 7.32 million viewers and a 2.4 demo rating. That is off by 39% in viewers and 48% in demo ratings from last week.
